Dr. Carlson attended medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine/Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. He completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine/St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Dr. Carlson has professional affiliations with the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He was awarded the prestigious Arnold P. Gold Humanism Award in Medicine and is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He currently holds staff privileges at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Carlson is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
