Dr. Anita Gupta was born in Punjab, India, and is a graduate of the Government Medical College Patiala. She obtained her medical degree at Punjab University in India. Her residency was at MSU in Lancing, Michigan, and its affiliated MSU Hospital, and she completed her training with a fellowship in Family Practice.

Dr. Gupta has almost thirty years of experience in medicine with board certification in family practice. She is an active member of AAPI (Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin) and serves as the current Medical Director of Florida S.T.E.P.S (Specialized Treatment & Evaluation Services). In addition to running Sunshine Walk-In Clinic she volunteers with: AAFP, the Florida Chapter of Medical Association, and is actively involved with medical Clinical Research and the Hindu Society in Orlando, as well as vari­ous medical camps all over the nation & other countries.

Dr. Gupta has lived in the Lake Mary area with her husband hand surgeon Dr. Rai Gupta and has two children.
